"Thank you for visiting our gift registry. As we have had a home together for a number of years, have a toaster that is in perfect working order and live in a completely different part of the planet to most of our guests, we have chosen a registry where guests contribute towards a few gifts that we can buy back in New Zealand. We would love a coffee machine (one with steam, coffee beans etc) and a set of Le Creuset casseroles & pans.
Or you could consider buying us dinner, drink or an amusement for us to enjoy on our honeymoon. We will be going to Bavaria, the home of beer, staying in Munich and the ski resort of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. So lots of opportunities to eat big German sausages and drink huge steins of beer. The registry allows you to contribute towards a gift as well as buying a gift outright.
